Every Kaiser project is backed by a strong roofing warranty, so you can protect your investment with confidence. We stand behind our work with a 2-year workmanship warranty, and as an Owens Corning Roofing Preferred Contractor, we can also register your roof for Owens Corning manufacturer warranties that provide long-term coverage on both residential and commercial properties.
Our Workmanship Warranty
Our roofing warranty starts with our own workmanship. Kaiser backs every installation with a 2-year workmanship warranty covering our installation labor and the quality of our work. During those first two years, we are responsible for making any necessary repairs related to how your roof was installed, so you always know who to call.
Owens Corning Manufacturer Roofing Warranty
Because we are an Owens Corning Roofing Preferred Contractor, we can offer manufacturer roofing warranty coverage that goes well beyond a standard product warranty. Owens Corning system warranties provide non-prorated TruPROtection® coverage for manufacturing defects in Owens Corning shingles and components, including the labor, materials, tear-off, and disposal needed to repair or recover your roof. Once the TruPROtection® period ends, prorated coverage continues for the materials based on the age of the roof.
Coverage is offered in tiers, and higher tiers extend both the non-prorated period and the workmanship coverage:
- Standard Product Limited Warranty – base manufacturer coverage for materials.
- System Protection – enhanced coverage on a qualifying Owens Corning system.
- Preferred Protection – longer non-prorated and workmanship coverage.
- Platinum Protection – the highest tier, with the longest non-prorated and workmanship coverage.
Residential Roofing Warranty
For single-family detached homes using architectural or specialty shingles, Owens Corning offers Limited Lifetime coverage — protecting your roof for as long as you own your home. The TruPROtection® non-prorated period and workmanship period both vary by the system installed, reaching up to a 50-year TruPROtection® period and up to 25 years of workmanship coverage on top-tier systems. As your installing contractor, Kaiser is responsible for covered repairs during the first two years.

Commercial & Multifamily Roofing Warranty
For non-single-family structures — including apartments, condominiums, HOAs, schools, and commercial buildings — Owens Corning offers non-residential roofing warranty coverage. Manufacturing defects are covered at 100% during the TruPROtection® period, including labor, after which prorated coverage continues for the materials based on the age of the roof. Contractor workmanship coverage runs up to 20 years on Platinum Protection systems and up to 10 years on Preferred Protection systems, depending on the system installed.
