Kaiser Siding & Roofing has been in business since 2006. We are family owned and operated by two brothers, Scott and Michael Kaiser, with offices in North Carolina, Florida, Ohio, and Georgia. Our goal has not changed in twenty years: provide trustworthy and courteous service to every customer.

Owens Corning Top Performer MVP, 2023

Owens Corning named Kaiser Siding and Roofing a Top Performer MVP for 2023 in the Southeast Region.

This is separate from the Platinum Preferred certification. Platinum is a standard you qualify for and maintain. Top Performer MVP is a comparison against every other Platinum contractor in the region, judged on production, quality scores, and customer satisfaction across the year.

Every one of these holds us to a standard, which is the point. Here is what the most demanding of them actually require.

GAF Master Elite

GAF Master Elite contractors make up roughly two percent of roofers nationwide. The reason the number is that small is that the requirements are difficult to meet and difficult to keep:

• Minimum seven years in business, plus one year in their certification program
• 99 percent customer satisfaction, measured through independent GAF surveys
• One million dollars in general liability coverage, plus valid workers compensation
• Satisfactory BBB rating (Kaiser holds A+ Accredited)
• A documented workmanship record

Owens Corning Platinum Preferred

Fewer than one percent of roofing contractors carry this designation. It is the top tier of the Owens Corning network, with strict requirements around professionalism, reliability, and craftsmanship, and it is audited rather than granted once.

What it means for you as a homeowner is concrete: we can offer Owens Corning’s best roofing system warranty, which contractors without the certification are not permitted to offer.

Founding Member of the UASRC

The United Association of Storm Restoration Contractors is a non-profit committed to bringing affordable, relevant education to contractors working in insurance restoration.

Its members are contractors trying to build businesses that last, and the association exists so they can learn from each other’s successes and mistakes rather than repeating them independently. NRCA Board Members

The Kaiser brothers serve on the board of the National Roofing Contractors Association, the industry’s principal trade association and its leading authority on information, education, technology, and advocacy. Founded in 1886, the NRCA represents contractors, manufacturers, distributors, architects, engineers, and building owners across the country.

A board seat means having a hand in the standards the rest of the industry follows, rather than only meeting them.

Why Any of This Matters to You

Certifications are easy to list and hard to evaluate, so here is the practical version.

Ask any contractor bidding your job what they hold and how long they have held it. Manufacturer certifications carry warranty implications you cannot get otherwise. BBB accreditation and third-party satisfaction surveys mean someone outside the company is checking the work. Years in business means they will still exist when a warranty claim comes up.

Choosing the right contractor and getting the job done correctly the first time can save you thousands over the life of a roof. The certifications are not the point on their own. They are a shortcut for judging whether the company behind them is worth trusting.
